NBA Parlay Picks for Tuesday, March 14

I had a good last week winning seven of my 11 NBA parlay picks. Unfortunately I failed to put winners on a single card and thus lost on my three parlay tickets. Coming so close to winning but falling just short proves our point that winning a multi-team bet is difficult. However, hitting that bet has a much more lucrative payout, which is why I keep coming back for more. I was close last week and with time running down in the NBA regular season I’ll take more chances this week starting with Tuesday’s slate of games.

There are some good games on the schedule with the Milwaukee Bucks hoping the return of Giannis Antetokounmpo can spark them in a 2021 NBA Finals rematch with the Phoenix Suns. The Freak missed a third straight game with a hand injury and the Bucks fell to the Warriors in overtime on Sunday. They finish off a brief three-game road trip playing the second of a back to back. The clubs played a close game just a few weeks ago with the Bucks emerging with a 104-101 win. Despite the loss to the defending champs the Bucks have still won 18 of their past 20 games to hold down the NBA’s best overall record. Let’s see if we can make some money on a NBA parlay for games on Tuesday, March 14.

Milwaukee Bucks at Phoenix Suns

I guess I’ll start with the last game to be played on Tuesday first. The Bucks have survived without Giannis but they ran into a scorching Steph Curry on Saturday falling to the Warriors in overtime. With a deep bench and plenty of offensive production, the Bucks are poised for a run in the Eastern Conference. They’ve been the hottest team in the Association over the last month winning 18 of 19 games before Sunday’s setback, so the odds weren’t in their favor. It didn’t help that Antetokounmp was on the shelf since taking 31.2 points and 11.9 rebounds off the floor will have an impact. However, the Bucks have a deep bench with Bobby Portis and Khris Middleton stepping in to fill the void. And the Suns are still lamenting the fact that their prized deadline acquisition Kevin Durant is sidelined. Both teams are playing the second game of a back to back with each traveling to Phoenix. So in that case I have to back the deeper club, which happens to be the Milwaukee Bucks.

NBA Parlay Pick: Milwaukee ATS

Utah Jazz at Miami Heat

The Jazz are one of several clubs jockeying for position in the congested Western Conference playoff hunt. Entering the week four teams have identical 33-35 records, including Utah, and No. 6 seed Golden State has two more wins that that group. It’s been a surprise that the Jazz are in contention after blowing things up during the offseason, but I still can’t trust them and I really don’t trust them on the road against Miami. Utah hasn’t won in South Beach since 2016 and though the games have been close there’s something about the trip. And with this being the last of a five-game road swing an early sigh of relief will bring the Jazz down. Unlike Utah the Heat are a virtual lock for at least the play-in tournament with a top-six still within reach. And Miami has been good against the West going 17-10 SU that included a three-point win in Utah earlier in the season. The spread might be a little iffy so I’ll back the home team on the moneyline at a reasonable price.

NBA Parlay Pick: Miami ML

Detroit Pistons at Washington Wizards

The Pistons have to win at some point, right? A 121-115 setback to Indiana on Saturday was their 11th straight and they have just two wins since late January, over Charlotte and San Antonio. Most of their games haven’t been closer either. They travel to our nation’s capital on Tuesday for the second of a back to back, which is a tough situation for a club that’s been playing most of the season shorthanded. The injury situation hasn’t cleared up and on most nights the Pistons resemble a G League team. One of their rare close games came just last week in a 119-117 home loss to the Wizards where they covered the 11-point spread. When the teams played in DC earlier this season the Wiz won by 21 and that’s a real possibility again on Tuesday which is why I’m backing the home team minus the points on my parlay card.

NBA Parlay Pick: Washington ATS
