NBA Betting – Wednesday Parlay Picks

Now that the NFL season is reaching its conclusion it’s time to turn our attention to another popular sport to wager on. The NBA is in full swing with games taking on greater significance at this point in the season. One way to make a quick buck is betting NBA parlays, which produce a bigger payout than a single game wager. The down side, though, is that it’s much more difficult to win a multi-bet parlay. And with a parlay every leg of the ticket has to be a winner in order to cash out. And the more wagers on a parlay the less likely it is to win. Not to discourage you since there are winners on parlay cards and the Association is a great sport to work a multi-team wager.

Let’s target the nine-game NBA schedule for Wednesday, Feb. 8 to work magic on a parlay card. This article is for informational purposes only and the games listed are not part of a multi-team ticket. Use the knowledge and information to make your own wagers and hopefully stock that bank roll along the way. You can bet NBA parlays at BookMaker.eu with odds for every game on the Wednesday schedule.

Portland Trail Blazers

This isn’t so much an endorsement for the Blazers as it is fading the Golden State Warriors for the Western Conference matchup. The defending champs have struggled all season and they will be without leading scorer Stephen Curry as the Dubs head to the Pacific Northwest. And more concerning is Golden State’s play on the road. They have gotten better results lately, but that’s the only direction they could go after stinking away from the Bay. The Dubs are just 7-20 SU in away games and they have the worst cover rate on the road at 33.3 percent. Steve Kerr recently said he wants to give veterans Klay Thompson and Draymond Green fewer minutes to preserve them for the postseason leaving the Dubs vulnerable. The Blazers had a little run going winning five of six games inching closer to a play-in spot. They enter the week just a game behind the Warriors in the West standings and Damien Lillard always seems to play his best against the Dubs. This game is a good double dip on the parlay card backing the Blazers on the line and the OVER since the Warriors yield an average of more than 121 points on the road.

NBA Parlay Pick: Trail Blazers ATS / OVER

Cleveland Cavaliers

Shrewd draft picks and wise trades have the Cavs back on the map. They find themselves within spitting distance of the first place Celtics in the Eastern Conference thanks to a sparkling 22-6 SU home record. That also has them as the best home cover team with payouts in 66.7 percent of their games. They welcome the last-place Detroit Pistons on Wednesday in a game the Cavs need to keep pace with the big boys of the conference. The Cavs won two earlier meetings with the Pistons in Detroit by a combined total of 32 points with a payday each time. The Cavs’ moneyline is going to be steep so I’ll back them minus the points banking on the NBA’s top scoring defense shutting down Detroit’s weak offense.

NBA Parlay Pick: Cavaliers ATS

Los Angeles Clippers

Getting some players back on the floor has helped the Clippers put a little streak together moving them up the standings. A 134-128 overtime win over the Knickerbockers on Saturday was their seventh in nine games while going 7-1 ATS in their last eight. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard combined for 65 points in the game. And the Clips will be happy to be home after a grueling six-game Eastern Conference road trip. The Mavs made some noise with the acquisition of Kyrie Irving, but they did break up the squad sending Dorian Finney-Smith and Spencer Dinwiddie to Brooklyn. Luka Doncic didn’t travel with the team to start its road trip as he deals with a foot injury. Minus Luka on Saturday, the Mavs fell to 0-7 in games he doesn’t play with a 119-113 setback to the Warriors. The Clips won and covered the last two matchups even with Doncic in the Mavs lineup. They get it done again on Wednesday night.

NBA Parlay Pick: Clippers ML

Sacramento Kings

Sometimes a team just has another team’s number. That looks like the case in the Kings’ series against the Houston Rockets. Sacto has been a pleasant surprise entering the week with the third-best record in the West. And they’ve dismantled Houston in both meetings winning by at least 20 points each time extending their overall winning streak in the series to four. The games have been much closer in Texas, though, with the previous two games decided by a total of eight points. I’d like to back Sacramento minus the points, but that’s risky. And the moneyline is going to be pricey. So instead I’ll throw down on the OVER, which has been a good bet lately with the team’s exceeding the point total in each of their last four encounters.
