Check out all the golf action including daily matchups and golf odds for this week’s 81st Masters Tournament.
The first major tournament of the year will feature the game’s best players, but that will not include the former No. 1 player in the world, Tiger Woods. He will miss the Masters for the third time in the last four years due to his continued back problems.
There won’t be any Tiger golf props, which I may add, was easy money when they were available, but BookMaker.eu has some interesting props available for this year’s Masters.
So while you’re enjoying the drama at Augusta you may as well bet a few prop bets to make it more exciting. Let’s take a look at a few of the golf props that caught my eye.
Top Amateur
There are five amateurs in the betting field this week led by World No. 1 Curtis Luck who is the overwhelming favorite at -116. Scott Gregory is second at +265. I think the line on Luck should be more like -200 so you are getting pretty good value of only laying -116. Luck has played all over the world and even had some high finishes on the European Tour. Luck brings all backers lots of luck and finishes as the low amateur.
Top Senior
There are nine seniors in the field this week and really only a few have a chance to make the cut. Steve Stricker +145, Fred Couples +325, Mark O’Meara +4050 and Bernhard Langer +365 all have a good shot at playing the weekend. Stricker still competes on the PGA Tour and the way he putts, I think he has the best shot to do well. Couples has only missed one cut at the Masters and is always a threat to play well at Augusta – he still has the length to get it done. The most VALUE has to be with O’Meara +4050 or maybe Larry Mize +4050, but my money is going on Stricker.

Wife/Girlfriend +165
Wife Holding Child +305
No Hug +825
This is a good one! Will we see a kid running on the green or will we see the wife or girlfriend get the first hug? That’s what it really comes down to. The Wife/Girlfriend at +165 will get the most action, but I’m going to pick the Child at +225. I can see the winner waiting for his kid or kids running on the green to give them the first hug.

Louis Oosthuizen +150
Charl Schwartzel +200
Branden Grace +350
Ernie Els +850
Trevor Immelman +1450
Schwartzel is the only one that has a Green Jacket. Els and Immelman have no chance. Grace has not been playing well. Oosthuizen has played well in recent years, so I like taking both Schwartzel and Oosthuizen and hope Grace fades fast. It’s a safe bet – not going to win much, but should hit paydirt.
