The Golden State Warriors go for a sweep of the top two teams in the Eastern Conference when they visit Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday. In a rematch of last season’s NBA Finals, the Warriors took out the Celtics on Saturday to climb back over .500. But they’ve struggled on the road going just 2-11 and the Dubs are 0-2 SU and ATS in their last two visits to Milwaukee. Meanwhile the Bucks closed the week tied for the NBA lead with 12 home victories.
The matchup between the Warriors and Bucks takes place on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 and will air live on TNT with tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET from Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, WI. BookMaker.eu will have betting options for every game on the NBA schedule.

Season to Date
During their run of championships and NBA Finals appearances the Warriors were always one of the best on the road. This year, though, the one thing keeping them hovering around the .500 mark nearly one-third of the way into the campaign has been their inability to win away from home. The splits are alarming with their two road wins the second-fewest in the NBA. Heck, the NBA-worst Pistons have more road wins. The Dubs literally gave the game away at Utah last week losing 124-123 dropping them to 2-11 SU. They did cover the spread, though, making them 3-10 ATS on the road. Their last two trips to Milwaukee resulted in 19 and 39 point losses.
The Bucks just keep doing what the Bucks do. They got some help from the Mavericks in a 106-105 win on Friday, their fourth straight and seventh in the last eight games. They win by scoring a bunch of points and they’ve also had success in tighter, low-scoring games. We’ve associated Milwaukee with offense over the last few years and they can still score the basketball averaging nearly 113 points. But the defense has been solid all year helping them cash the UNDER in 14 of their 25 games. And they’ve been one of the best on their home floor going 12-3 SU and 10-5 ATS.
Golden State Warriors
The Warriors looked like the defending champs on Saturday blasting the Celtics 123-107, which has been their M.O. this season. They’ve been unbeatable at home going 12-2 but they have yet to figure it out on the road. Their last road game epitomized their struggles this season. The Warriors had a 4-point lead with 13.3 seconds left and lost. A three-pointer then a steal and layup gave Utah an improbable 124-123 win. The Warriors were without Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins.
For whatever reason, the Warriors have a hard time playing defense on the road. They allow an average of 122.8 points, a difference of nearly 13 points from what they give up at home, and the OVER is 5-1 in their last six roadies. With Curry leading the way the offense has been elite. Curry averages 30 points and the Dubs rank third scoring 117.6 points. Curry and Klay Thompson combined for 66 points and 10 triples in the win over Boston helping the Dubs cover the 2.5-point spread, their seventh payout in the last nine games.
Milwaukee Bucks
Missing Khris Middleton and Pat Connaughton at the start of the season the Bucks still got off to hot start winning their first nine games. They went through a little dry spell right after that but have emerged recently stringing wins together. With Giannis fouling out in the Dallas game, the Bucks were still able to close it out getting a go-ahead bucket from Brook Lopez. Antetokounmpo had his run of 30-plus point games snapped by tallying 28, but he’s still the NBA’s second-leading scorer averaging nearly 32 points.
The Bucks have not had a problem scoring against the Warriors in recent home games. They won the last two at Fiserv Forum averaging 128 points. Giannis had a triple-double in last year’s 118-99 win scoring 30 points with 12 rebounds and 11 assists. He’s a problem for the Warriors, who lack a big man who can defend him. If the Dubs sell out to stop Giannis they’ll get burned by one or more of the five other players averaging in double figures. Middleton is averaging 13.8 points in four games since returning and you expect that number to rise especially since he averaged more than 20 points in each of the past three seasons.
GSW vs Bucks Prediction
You expect the champs to figure things out on the road sooner rather than later. This matchup isn’t a good one for them, though. Antetokounmpo is a problem since the Warriors have few options defensively, and the Dubs have issues defending on the road. This could be a big night for the Bucks offensively.
