There are a host of different NFL draft prop bets which can be considered, involving all of the prominent prospects. The wait is finally over, and for bettors, there is nothing more satisfying than correctly nailing the outcome of the draft.

2019 NFL Draft Prop Bets

How many quarterbacks will be taken in the first round of the draft?

One of the most popular prop bets asks how many quarterbacks will be taken in the first round of the draft. The total is listed at 3.5, with the “over” the heavy favorite at -443. Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray and Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins seem locks to go in the first round. Duke’s Daniel Jones and Missouri’s Drew Lock are the other two getting plenty of first-round buzz, and if they both go there, the “over” will be the right decision. West Virginia’s Will Grier is another quarterback that could sneak into the first round if things break right for him.

How many wide receivers will be taken in the first round?

Another prop bet asks how many wide receivers will be taken in the first round. The total is listed at 2.5, and there are -115 odds both “over” and “under” that number. The prevailing wisdom early on was that more than two would go, but now there is some fuzziness there. D.K. Metcalf, Marquise Brown, A.J. Brown, Parris Campbell and N’Keal Harry are all possibilities.

Who will be the No. 2 overall pick in the draft?

A prop bet asks who the No. 2 overall pick in the draft will be. The San Francisco 49ers currently hold the selection, and Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa is the big favorite to land there at -350 odds. Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams comes in next at +280, followed by Murray at +900, Kentucky outside linebacker Josh Allen at +1500 and Haskins at +2000.

Who will be the first cornerback drafted?

LSU’s Greedy Williams is the favorite to be the first cornerback drafted at +121 odds, followed by Washington’s Byron Murphy at +219 and Georgia’s Deandre Baker at +467.

Which team will pick Dwayne Haskins?

The Washington Redskins are the team expected to choose Haskins, as they are listed at +111 to do so. The Giants come in at +443, followed by the Dolphins at +572 and the Raiders at +598. The field can be had at +363.

These are just some of a few of the NFL draft prop bets, and there are plenty more focusing on several different areas of the draft. The odds are shifting as we speak so it’s good to get a bet in soon.

Will more than 2.5 wide receivers will get taken in the first round?

There are a host of intriguing props on the board, but the one that screams for action is the one which wonders if more than 2.5 wide receivers will get taken in the first round. There are a lot of options this year, and teams may choose to wait and try to get some offensive weapons later. However, this is a passing league now and several of the talents will be too tantalizing to pass up.

While it could very well come down to some of the final picks in the first round, at least three wide receivers are going to be taken when the first 32 selections are made. The “over” on this prop bet should be taken confidently, and at a fair price.

Our Staff Pick: Over 2.5 wide receivers taken in the first round of the draft
